1.13 The Omelette Badge
Get into the groove for the Omelette Badge. This badge shows how far Hey Duggee has come in just 13 episodes. Compare this episode to episode 2, the cake badge. In that episode, the Squirrels needed to make a cake, so they made a cake. In this episode, they are making an omelette which leads to an exercise montage. Other than the first few badges, things are never straight forward in the world of Hey Duggee. The music too has taken huge steps forward in a short amount of time. Hennie’s exercise song is the first song to make it into the Top of the Pups chart.

The squirrels want to help but Happy breaks all the eggs. After tidying up they head out to the chickens to get some more eggs. The chickens are in their house watching soaps on TV and eating junk food. Happy asks for eggs but they don’t have any. Hennie the giant bird arrives ad checks out the situation. She realises that the chickens need some exercise, but how will they get them outside? Duggee pulls their TV out of the door and the chickens follow. Hennie presses play on her boom box. The Squirrels (now dressed in sportswear) encourage the chickens to get into the groove in an ‘80s montage to music. The chickens join in and soon they have laid many eggs. Everyone thanks Hennie.

Get your Omelette Badge
For your Omelette Badge, you need to do two things. First, do some exercise. Hennie’s song is available on iPlayer and you can follow along with the Squirrels’ moves or make up your own. The second activity is to make and eat an omelette together.
