1.48 The Sewing Badge
The Sewing Badge has one of my favourite shots in the whole of Hey Duggee. The epic panning shot of Duggee and the Squirrels atop the mountain is incredible.

Episode Summary
Opening Squirrel
Tag playing with a robot.
Start
The Squirrels are playing with fruit. Betty is reading a cook book. Roly is shaking a banana. Norrie and Tag are cooking on the toy stove. Happy has made a pile of fruit.
Set-Up
Duggee is sewing. He has his Sewing Badge.
Story
Duggee has made himself a poncho. The Squirrels like the sound of creating their own ponchos so they settle down to quietly sew. They are concentrating hard when a loud noise interrupts them. They guess what it could be:
- Betty guesses volcano.
- Roly guesses thunder.
- Happy guesses fireworks.
The go and investigate but the sound continues. The petals fall off a flower, Tino’s easel falls over and Naughty Monkey’s bananas scatter. They find their way to the top of a mountain. The noise continues and they follow it to a baby polar bear who is sneezing loudly. He needs to blow his nose but he doesn’t have a hanky. Duggeee reluctantly offers his poncho. The polar bear blows his nose and feels better straight away. His mum thanks them insists he hands back te hanky. It’s dripping wet and ruined.
The Squirrels go back to sewing their ponchos. When they finish they put them on and hand Duggee his which they have mended.
