Episode Summary

Happy bug hunting.
Start
Duggee and the Squirrels are playing football.
Set-Up
Duggee kicks the ball and Happy runs off to retrieve it and finds Mole looking sad. Mole is a very successful mole, he even holds the record for the most molehills dug in one night. However, he can’t help wondering if he could have done more with his life. As a young mole, he wanted to be a stunt mole but life got in the way. Happy argues that if his cousin Eric can try cucumber for the first time aged 8 then it’s not too late for Mole.
Mole has a problem, everything is so fuzzy above round. Happy had the same problem when he was little until his mum got him glasses and now everything is not fuzzy. The other Squirrels arrive and Happy fills them in on the situations while Mole tries to say something. Duggee can help, he has his Drawing Badge. Also, his Glasses Badge.
Story
Mole already has glasses but he does’t wear them because they always fall off when he is practising his stunts. He disappears underground, leaving his glasses behind. Duggee and the Squirrels decide to make Mole new glasses:
- Scientist Duggee explains the process to Happy.
- Mole kicks a pebble.
- Engineer Duggee uses a blow torch with encouragement from Roly.
- Mole tries to skim a stone.
- Duggee and Norrie use a robotic arm to tighten the screws.
- Birds fly around Mole.
- All the Squirrels test the glasses.
Mole is watching the sunset when Duggee and the Squirrels arrive with the new glasses. Mole is doubtful but as soon as he put them on everything is crystal clear, including Duggee. Now with his glasses and the encouragement of his friends Mole can go faster and higher than any mole has been before. Mole performs the stunt and thanks Duggee and the Squirrels.

Outfits
Duggee and the Squirrels all have the lab coats on to engineer the glasses. Duggee also wears a boiler suit in this montage and a full set of fan boy gear for the stunt.
