2.12 The Teamwork Badge
There is some good humour for little ones in the Teamwork Badge. Duggee’s face, as he reads the instructions, is one of the funniest things my son had ever seen when he was two.

Episode Summary
Opening Squirrel
Betty is wearing her explorer’s outfit in the parlour, spinning a globe.
Start
The Squirrels are all playing with the blocks.
Set-Up
Duggee is waiting for the post beaver. He has a big delivery. It’s a surprise for the Squirrels but it needs putting together. The Squirrels want to help but they are not very helpful so they head off to play. Roly is impatient for the surprise so Tag goes to look. It’s not going very well. The Squirrels question Tag but he can’t answer their questions so they all go for a look. Roly thinks it’s a rocket, Happy thinks it’s a robot, Tag thinks it’s a racing car, Betty thinks it’s a submarine and Norrie thins it’s an aeroplane. They fight over the pieces and the instructions. Duggee comes back and shows them his Teamwork Badge.
Story
They work together to put the pieces together in a building montage. It starts off reminiscent of surgery with one Squirrel handing Duggee tools while Tag mops his brow. Then moves outside to a building site. Together they build a helter-skelter. They run up and slide down a few times.

Close and Credits
Duggee gets stuck coming down the helter-skelter.
Outfits
Betty starts in an explorer’s outfit. They wear hardhats outside and Duggee has on some high-vis clothing.
