Episode Summary
Opening Squirrel
Happy cleaning his teeth.
Start
The Squirrels have been baking.
Set-Up
The timer goes off, and the cookies are ready to come out of the oven. They are still too hot to eat, so Duggee suggests they go for a quick walk.
They walk for a while until Duggee decides it’s time to head back. The Squirrels wonder which way to go. Duggee knows as he has his Direction Badge.
Story
There are four main directions, North, South, East and West. On the map, the clubhouse is to the North, so they need to go North to reach their cookies.
However, they don’t know which way is North, so they look for clues. A bug tells them that bubble mushrooms only grow on the Northside of this tree.
They end up in the sea. From here, Duggee thinks they need to go East. Migrating boing boing fish are heading East for a party, so the Squirrels follow them.
They end up on top of a mountain, and they need to go south. A goat tells the Squirrels that the clouds are moving South, so they follow them.
This time they end up in the desert at night. Now they can use the stars to guide them West. Jay and Joy are stargazing. They explain the constellations to them, including one that always points West.
They continue to get lost:
- In a cave the ice points them one direction.
- The sunrise and Duggee’s staff point them another direction.
- The follow some birds another way.
- Bouncing fruit takes them another direction.
- Some bugs carrying leaves point them another way.
- A snakes toungue.
- Turtles
- Ethel the elephant.
- A volcano.
They eventually find Enid, who points them to the clubhouse. They finally enjoy their cookies.
Close and Credits
The Squirrels have earned their Direction Badges.
The parents drive the wrong way home.
